Shopwatch
The fastest most flexible and responsive dedicated Security Communications System available; uniquely designed & customised for each location, application and budget.
Shoplifting costs the Retail industry over £3 Billion a year – its NOT PETTY CRIME!
The main functions of a Shopwatch System is co-ordination, sharing of intelligence, and the ability to summon assistance – an ‘All Informed Network’.
It must not be used in place of 999, 112 calls, police alarms or other emergency arrangements. However in most places where dedicated Police or Community Support Officers are allocated to the area, these officers often monitor the system and thereby provide faster assistance.
While combating shoplifting is a primary function of a Shopwatch System, it can also be highly effective against other crimes including fraud (card/cheque/fake monies), vandalism, violence, etc. The systems can give instant broadcast messages regarding fire/bomb alerts, lost children, even assisting with emergency evacuations, especially useful at times when the public networks suddenly become unavailable (overloaded or even switched out by the authorities).
Pubwatch
The main functions of a Pubwatch System just like a Shopwatch System is co-ordination, sharing of intelligence and the ability to summon assistance The Pubwatch Schemes can be used to track known offenders and prevent them access to other premises, vandalism, violence, anti-social behaviour, burglary, etc. It links together the Security, Doorstaff & Management of Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Street Wardens, Police and Community Support Officers, and especially the CCTV Control Operations Centre.
Townwatch
Townwatch is basically the same system used to best advantage in a Town centre; Shopwatch by day, Pubwatch by night! With everything linked into the CCTV Control Operations Centre the ultimate.
You are no longer isolated; you will be in immediate contact, via a state of the art two way radio system with your neighbours, and support.
So how does a “Watch” system operate?
Each system is different depending on the complexities and functions required of the system, but all systems enable everyone to communicate with each other, summon assistance, receive broadcast information, etc.
Centre Management Teams, Store Detectives, Security Officers and Shop Assistants carry a two-way radio, small shops can keep a radio behind the counter, messages sent from one radio can be heard by everyone on the network, or in more complex systems small “User groups”.
Each user has its own unique programmed ID, so the controllers know who is transmitting.
If a radio is stolen, it can be Stunned or Killed so the thief will be unable to use the radio.
CCTV Control Room, Security staff or Police can monitor the network at all times
The radio system enables the rapid dissemination of information on potential criminal & anti-social activities throughout the area, so that security & other key staff are fully aware of the progress, descriptions, and risk. Other users of the system are alerted, and the system allows staff to keep track of the individuals throughout the area, while remaining in contact with other security and support staff who could provide assistance if required.
In the unfortunate event that a member of staff or security officer is attacked, or needs Urgent assistance, the system has a built in “Emergency” button which, when activated, sends the identity of the radio user in difficulty to all other radios on the system, together with an Emergency code. The microphone on that radio automatically activates for 30 seconds, thereby enabling the user to have a ‘hands free’ facility.
Basic Features include:
Individual identities (ID)
Emergency button on each radio
Automatic identification the of ‘Emergency Radio’ to all users
Microphone activation for 30 seconds after pushing the Emergency button.
’Stun’ or ‘Kill’ facility to disable a radio if stolen, lost, or missing.
The most modern advanced systems can include options to send “text” type dedicated and general messages, log all radios on & off, track radio usage, lone worker facilities, etc using systems like RMS-NET, and some can have options for encryption (scrambled speech), to prevent ‘overhearing’.
You decide whether to hire or buy the two way radios, a mix of both, or a fully managed service?
Hired “Watch” packages include full maintenance and replacement units during the rare occasion of an equipment failure.
A full and comprehensive range of accessories is available for the two way radios, including covert equipments.
